When taking the earphones out, you will notice two small metallic circles, which line up with two small prongs in the case, which allows the, to charge. The overall colour scheme is a mix of blacks & greys, along with a single pearlescent, mirrored face, which also asks as a button. These are earphones, that sit within the ear canal and includes two additional supports in the form of an over ear hook & an earbud with an extra piece of plastic help secure within the ear. On the outside & to the rear of the case is the micro USB cable and there is just a single button inside the case, which illuminates the cases battery level. The earphones sit inside the case within a plastic molding, so they remain in place when not in use. The case is made from plastic, yet it is incredibly robust & durable. Within the case are the earphones and a handy little 3inch USB charging cable. The earphones come complete in a pocket sized carry case, which doubles up as a charging station. The earphones include ‘Always Aware’ eartips, a sweat & waterproof design, plus 5 hours of playback, with a further 10 hours via the charging hub. But how do other Plantronics products hold up? We’ve got two more lined up, the first being the BackBeat FIT 3100 wireless earphones. So far after 3 days of full use I am very happy with my ear buds.Over the last couple of week’s, I’ve been glued to the BackBeat GO 810 headphones and they are now my go-to for audio pleasure. The charging box also has a tiny 6cm long USB-A to USB-micro cable. (Or 8 charges if you only use 1 ear bud in mono.) Well 760mAh/(90mAh*2)=4 charges according to me. Well the ear buds are 90mAh, and the box had 760mAh. The specs say the charging box has 2 full charges in it. Well I charged the box and been using it for 3 full days now, and it is still not half empty. You need to adjust that on your phone/pc/laptop/TV/. But you have no control of the volume on the headset. You can use as mono by ONLY turning on the "primary" and leaving the other off, or by leaving the other in the charging box.īoth left and right sound will go to the "primary"-ear bud then. The button on "primary"-ear bud functions as play/answer/next/previous/pair/On/Off-button, while the button on other ear bud is just for volume+/volume-/On/Off. (I use it mono in my left ear most of the time.) One ear bud is the "Primary" that connects to you Bluetooth device, while the other connects to the "primary"-ear bud.Īnd you can switch which is the "primary". You can twist the orange ear bud about 45 degrees compare to strap to fit your comfort. If I am in a not loud environment, I can clearly hear all the high tones, and the bass is pretty strong. These Plantronics BackBeat ear buds are perfect for that. I want to hear the surroundings, I don't want to "noise-cancel" that out. ![]() And they also clog my ear so I can't hear my surroundings. Well I hate them, it feels uncomfortable and can even hurt after a while. Standard ear-buds have this hard lump thing that you need to push in your ear. It is virtually the only "around-ear" fit, not "on-ear" or "over-ear", with ear buds that go in your ear, but not in your ear-channel. ![]() I chose these ear buds anyway, because it is the only ear bud I could find that is: Usable at mono/stereo headset (as in you can use it with just wearing only one ear bud). I read from a lot of user-reviews that the sound quality is poor, and the battery sucks.
